Red Bull Dance Your Style 2022 World Final is getting ready to be the scene of the struggle of the best dancers in the world. Red Bull Dance Your Style 2022 World Final, which includes almost all types of street dance, including hip hop, popping and house, will be held on Saturday, December 10, in Johannesburg, South Africa. More than 60 dancers from 30 countries will show their skills for first place in the competition.
The 27 finalists who qualify for the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2021 World Final will participate directly in the 2022 World Final to be held this year. Dancer Shanny J, the winner of last year’s South African national final, stated that he is looking forward to this magnificent event that his country will host and said, “I am very grateful to have the opportunity to represent South Africa in my home country at the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2022 World Final, which will be held in December. I’m happy. Winning the national final was a dream come true and now I am very excited to compete against the best dancers in the world in my hometown; I’m in the process of working pretty hard,” she said.
Akay Üstünel, who won the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2021 Turkey Final and won the right to represent Turkey in the world final, said, “I am thrilled to win your Red Bull Dance Your Style 2021 Turkey Final. I love to dance, and I want to raise our flag and my name. For this reason, it is great excitement for me to go to South Africa and compete with the best.”
The Red Bull Dance Your Style 2022 World Final is the second world final to date. The first Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final was held in 2019 at the historic Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris, with over 4,000 attendees and over 3.8 million live viewers worldwide. Dutch dancer Shinshan became the first Red Bull Dance Your Style world winner, surpassing 39 dancers worldwide.
